Women may choose to discontinue the use of birth control when planning to conceive. Detoxification helps rid the body of synthetic hormones and restores the body to functioning the way it was before the use of birth control. While it may take up to three months to cleanse the body of birth control, it is possible to conceive as early as the first pill-free month. Thus, if detoxing the body only for health reasons, consider using an alternative contraceptive method.

Juice the following in a juicer: 1 cup cranberries, half a beet, two celery stalks, 1/2 cup raw cabbage and two carrots. Drink every morning.

Wrap yourself in a big towel or long robe. The body will continue to perspire for the next 30 minutes to hour.
Take a 20 minute brisk walk every day in fresh air. Breathe in deeply to allow and exhale deep to rid the body of toxins. Exercise will restore the body to normal hormone balance.
Eating plenty of fresh and raw fruits and vegetables a day will cleanse the body naturally.
During detox, avoid any rigorous activity or discontinue if feeling faint or light headed.
